Cuba’s 52nd National Day Celebrations-January 6th 2011

.the Celebration for the 52nd anniversary of the heroic struggle that gave Cuba its real independence on 6th January was held this year at the Yayasan Seni Berdaftar premise at Persiaran Ritchie in Ampang, KL. Guest of Honour was Deputy Foreign Minister The Honourable Senator A Kohilan Pillay & Cuban Ambassador Carlos Amores jointly¬†did the toast for Cuba & Malaysia. Also present was Deputy Information, Communications & Culture Dato Dr Joseph Salang & Deputy MInister of International Trade & Industry, Dato Seri Mukhriz Tun Mahathir, who’s also Chairman of Friends of Cuba Association Malaysia. Guests were treated to Cuban music & dances and of course food. There was also an Exhibition of 40 Cuban Comtemporary Paintings by 40 artists. Some lucky guests also won several Hampers of Cuban products in a lucky draw.

Guests were treated to a Lucky Draw for 5 wonderful hampers containing Cuba Food & Beverage Products presented by Cuban Ambassador & looking on is his wife Senora Amores.
